November 2021 System Updates & News

The PartsTech team has been hard at work adding new features, supplier integrations, and improvements to the system. Here are some of the things we released this month.

System Updates:

Add Additional Users to your PartsTech Account!

Having multiple user accounts helps keep things organized for shops with multiple people ordering parts. You can add/remove and manage users by clicking on the Users icon in the left menu. For a full walkthrough on managing users check out our knowledge base guide here.

Shipping and Notes Shortcut Buttons

Now when you add items to the cart you'll see a shortcut button where you can view and modify shipping options & add supplier notes for each supplier in your cart. Click the shortcut button to expand the cart and display order options.

AAPEX 2021 Recap & Photos

Earlier this PartsTech exhibited at the in-person return of AAPEX, in sunny Las Vegas! This year PartsTech had 3 different booth locations, including 2 booths in Joe's Garage, a new shop experience at AAPEX.

Joe's Garage made us feel like we were back in the shop. It featured real lifts, and real vehicles made possible with source capture exhaust systems. We were happy to join the crew at Joe's Garage and we're excited to see what's new in the shop next year!

It was great to be back in person, meeting with partners, talking to shops, and handing out PartsTech Tee Shirts. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth to say hi!

PartsTech Wins a Best Booth Award at AAPEX 2021

This year we were humbled and honored to receive a Best Booth Award at AAPEX! This year’s judges were Kimberly Hardcastle-Geddes, CEM, president, mdg, and Kimberly Bottom, senior account director, Feathr.

To select the winners, judges toured the show floor and evaluated booths based on: creative attention-grabbing techniques, effective visual communications, effective staffing practices, smart exhibit access and attendee navigation, and engaging and informative presentations and demonstrations.

Awards were presented by Bill Hanvey, president and CEO, Auto Care Association, and Paul McCarthy, President, and CEO, Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA).

Our booth competed and won in the "Best Linear Booth" category "for light, bright, modern, good use of technology; engaged staff." We'd like to thank the judges, the AutoCare Association, AASA, and everyone else who made this a reality. Thank you!
